초대 회장, 현 감사 인사말 

안녕하세요. 대한화학손상연구회  감사  김재혁입니다. 유독성 화학물질의 누출이 지역사회에 이루어 질 때 다른 물리적 사고에 비해 광범위하게 다수사상자사고와 재난으로 이어짐을 이탈리아 세베소 다이옥신 누출 재난, 인도 보팔 메틸시아네이트 누출재난, 2012 구미 불산 누출 재난 등 우리는 역사를 통해 확인 하였습니다.
화학물질로 인해 야기될 수 있는 개인과 사회 집단의 피해에 대하여   
개인적 관점의 독성 및 물리적 외상 치료와 
사회적 관점의 재난 관리와 
예방의학 및 직업의학적 관점의 완화와 대비를 
통합적 시각으로 접근하고 해결책을 찾아감을 
본 연구회의 목적으로 하고 있습니다. 
그 가운데 교육 프로그램의 개발과 교육의 시행이 있습니다. 
저희는 2021년 7월 15일 대한응급의학회의 정식 산하단체가 되었으며 저희 연구회만의 확고한 정체성을 갖고 있습니다. 향후 본 화학 손상, 재난 분야에 대해서 연구와 교육분야에서 여러분과 동료로서 같이 활동 했으면 합니다.

Hello. I am Jaehyuk Kim, president of the KRSCI.

When a toxic chemical leak occurs in a community, it leads to a wider range of casualties and disasters than other physical accidents.
We have confirmed this through the history of disasters such as the dioxin leak in Seveso, Italy, the methyl cyanate leak in Bhopal in India, and the hydrofluoric acid leak in Gumi in 2012.

Based upon these historical backgrounds, the KRSCI aims to take the following perspectives on harm to individuals and social groups that can be caused by chemicals.

- By treating toxic and physical trauma from a personal point of view
- By conducting disaster management from a social point of view
- By mitigating and preparing for preventive medicine and occupational medicine
- Finding solutions by approaching the above with an integrated perspective

Among them are the development of educational programs and the implementation of education.
The KRSCI became an official affiliated organization of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine (KSEM) on July 15, 2021, and have a firm identity unique to our research group.
In the future, I hope that KRSCI will work with you and your colleagues in the fields of research and education in the field of chemical injury and disasters.
